ALGE RLS1 SERIES PHOTOCELLS


High-quality infrared photocells with range up to 150 meters!
OVERVIEW
Alge's RLS1 series of photocells are available in either photocell-and-reflector (RLS1n) or transmit-receive (RLS1nd) combinations. Your choice should be based on the width of the course you plan to use them on. RLS1n photocell-reflector sets shoot to 25 meters (about 80 feet), while the long-range RLS1nd transmit-receive models shoot to 150 meters (almost 500 feet!).
DESCRIPTION- RLS1n Photocell-Reflector Set (25m)
  • New design incorporates ON/OFF switch, DIN connector, and banana jacks on rear of unit
  • Shoots up to 25 meters -- ideal for everyday use or for interval-timing stations, speed traps, etc.
  • 3 power options: 1) internal power uses standard "C" cells (alkaline or NiCd); 2) external battery pack for prolonged use; 3) can be powered from the timer via a 3-conductor signal & power cable
  • Internal battery life: about 40 hours using alkaline or 18 hours using NiCd
  • Adjustable impulse length from 20ms to 1400ms
  • Battery Strength / Beam Alignment indicator
  • Heavy duty molded plastic case with retractable visor
  • Simple to align with reflector
  • Oversize tensioning grips
  • Mounts to standard Alge chain bracket or PST cell bracket

  • Long-distance transmit-receive photocell system
  • Shoots up to 150 meters! Ideal for everyday use, interval-timing stations, speed traps, or locations where safety requires that cells be located outside fencing etc.
  • Uses standard "C" cells or external battery pack
  • Battery Strength / Signal (beam alignment) indicator
  • New design incorporates ON/OFF switch, DIN connector, and banana jacks on rear of unit

  • The only photocells where each unit can be used in ALL the following configurations:as a Transmitter, as a Receiver, TX/RX with reflector using the Transmitter, TX/RX with reflector using the Receiver (battery switch ON, other switch set on "Adjust"). We have even used 2 Receiver units as a complete TX/RX set by setting the Transmitter (unwired) side switch to "Adjust" and the Receiver (wired) side switch to "Race". These cells are fantastic.
