OVERVIEW
Alge's SF2 Coin Timer is the perfect solution for permanent public race installations where ease of use is of the utmost importance. Designed for both single & dual courses, the competitors simply insert their tokens in the box at the start (see photo above), and GO! Once finished, the time is recorded and displayed on the optional display board or printed on the optional printer. Use it as a revenue-generator or simply as a value-added service.
DESCRIPTION
  • Needs only one pair of standard telephone wires for full operation from start to finish
  • Simple installation and setup
  • Low manpower requirements; no timing expertise required
  • Allows for simultaneous racing on two separate courses
  • Scoreboard capability allows the use of PST displays for overall time as well as difference time between courses (parallel)
  • 2-Course setup of SF2 allows simultaneous, independent use of either course (for example, use one course for NASTAR events and the other course for the general public)
  • 2-Course setup allows for the use of 2 simultaneous courses with different degrees of difficulty
  • Ideal for automatic timing of parallel slalom: features audio countdown at start as well as printouts of race times, differentials, and course identification
  • LCD on Start Unit (pictured) shows running time of racer on course
  • Traffic-light style countdown indicator shows Stop-Ready-Go (red-yellow-green)
  • Adjustable, lockable coin collector for different coins or tokens (tokens recommended)
  • Automatic test program for start unit and hill-wire integrity
