Stand-alone windpseed measurement system, including control terminal. Also controllable via the OPTIc photofinish system.

The anemometer ALGE Windspeed WS1 is approved by the IAAF (International Amateur Athletic Federation), DLV (German Athletic Federation), SLV (Swiss Athletic Federation), and OLV (Austrian Athletic Federation). The Anemometer measures wind velocity via a tube-mounted impeller. It is primarily used for sprint disciplines (up to 200 m) and long jump.

If you use it together with the ALGE OPTIc Photofinish you can control the Windspeed WS1 directly from the OPTIc software. This means you do not need an extra person to operate the anemometer. All wind data are transferred automatically to the printed results forms.

The WS1 can also be connected to an Alge GAZ display (separate adapter required).
